DSI Company Projects are unique works of improvisation and sketch comedy, outside of our weekly Harold Night and ComedySportz®, that are produced by the DSI Comedy Theater. These projects are scheduled regularly Saturdays at 9:30PM during BEST SHOW EVER.

DSI boasts local talent that continues to be recognized for innovation in the art of improvisation and who will likely be a integral part of the next of generation of comedy. We work extremely hard to produce some of the most cutting edge comedy being seen and performed in the country.

DSI Comedy Theater has received critical acclaim for projects based in Chicago, North Carolina and those performed across the country. DSI has been "Highly Recommended" and has received "Critic's Choice" from the Chicago Reader for THE BEATBOX, a show which received Best Bet from the Chicago Tribune and was awarded the Best Improvised Show at the St Louis Fringe Festival. Dual Exhaust (original DSI comedy duo) has twice earned Best Bet from The Independent, "Critic's Choice" from the Chicago Reader, and has been hailed as one of the "Top 10 most important comedy duos of the past decade" by the Chicago Tribune. North Carolina's Dirty South Improv Festival has received Best Bet from The Independent and is widely recognized as the world's largest festival dedicated to the education of improv comedy.

If you would like to have your project produced by the DSI Comedy Theater, whether you are a currrent member of the DSI company or independent talent, please put together a detailed proposal for your show or concept (proposal should include: project summary, contact information, assembled cast, director, technical director); you should then email your proposal to our Artistic Director.
