Tom Keller is a resident instructor with the DSI Comedy Theater

Tom has been a Dirty South company member since the fall of 2008 and has been performing stand-up since 2004. He co-hosts the weekly open mic at DSI, appears with the Improv Slam ensemble and won DSI's 2010 March Madness tournament as a member of The Timberpuppies.

A mild-mannered newspaper reporter by day, Tom grew up in suburban Detroit and was voted the best stand-up comic at Michigan State University in 2005. He took second in 2006, the obvious conclusion being he's getting less funny by the year. He has been a featured performer at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival and the Laugh Detroit Comedy Festival.
