Ryan Blackledge
Ryan Blackledge began performing improv in high school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a founding member of The Whethermen at the University of Virginia. After a brief break from improv during his first years of law school, Ryan studied longform at the Comedy Conservatory in New Orleans under Yvonne Landry. In New Orleans, he performed on the teams Let's Settle for Mediocrity and Coldtowne, which is now based in Austin, Texas.
Ryan started performing ComedySportz in 2004 with ComedySportz New Orleans. He performed with ComedySportz Philadelphia during the fall of 2005 while evacuated from New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina. He came to DSI in the Spring of 2006.

Ryan currently appears at DSI Comedy Theater with the ComedySportz show, as a player, as a referee (a.k.a. "The Anvil"), and as Mr. Voice (though not all at the same time). He was also a member of Mother Goose Project, the three-time CageMatch champion team.
When not performing at the theater, Ryan works at the North Carolina General Assembly, drafting legislation. He lives in Durham with his lovely wife Meghan and their two dogs, Tucker and Chloe.
