Michelle Gabriel

Michelle Gabriel

Michelle Gabriel was raised in various places in the southern United States (collectively referred to as Tenalasippi) by a Maori mother and Swiss father. Despite her cultured background including a few years living in Whakatane, New Zealand, she has been unable to escape the southern influence. She began her entertainment career as a redneck radio personality named RadiOMG in 2004.
After accidentally getting a degree in chemistry some six years later, she dropped the radio persona and moved to North Carolina for graduate school. In an attempt to fill the creative void left by RadiOMG, Michelle began a long series of bizarre hobbies including (but not limited to) unicycling, juggling, wine tasting, and playing the ukulele, guitar, and drums. After trading her electric drum set for an adult-sized tricycle in the summer of 2011, she stumbled across DSI. She has since studied IMPROV under Jeremy McDonald, Katy Jack, and Paula Pazderka.

As a graduate student at UNC, she can usually be found shooting lasers at things in a dark chemistry lab or unicycling to the nearest coffee shop. She devotes her rare moments of free time to comedy, music, and watching television on the internet.
