JAY OLSON (Director/Member) is proud to take over directing duties for The Beatbox. As a Chicago actor and improviser, he has worked with The Free Associates Theatre Company, Emerald City Theatre and The Playground Theatre. Currently Jay can be seen performing in the fully improvised one-act play, "Chairs" (CRITIC'S CHOICE - Chicago Reader), and as one half of the critically-acclaimed sketch comedy duo, Cathcart & Olson. He has had the opportunity to perform in theatre and comedy festivals in Dublin, NYC, Toronto, Washington D.C., Seattle, Chapel Hill and sweet home Chicago. Late at night, Jay can be seen in the documentary film, "The Laugh Track", on A&E.
