Diana Chang
Diana Chang has been performing improv comedy since 2003. She was featured on DSI teams Tony's Pony, Kevlar, and Community Bike, as well as Throw Like a Girl. Diana also coached Throw Like a Girl and was a teacher for DSI's Level 1 For Women Only.
With DSI and its affiliate BeDirty.com, Diana began a career in acting, which she is currently continuing in New York City. She challenged her gastric limits with the role of competitive-eater Ramona in BeDirty's Piehole (2005), directed by Erik Martin and Zach Ward, and had a supporting role, physical physicist Nine-volt Nina, in Good'n'Plenty(2004), directed by Erik Martin.
Diana's improv performance highlights include: 24Live!, 2003-2005; Dirty South Improv Festival 4 and 5; The Del Close Marathon at the Upright Citizens' Brigate Theater, NYC, 2004, 2005; DC Improv Festival Comedy Jam, 2005; And, of course, DSI Theater nearly every week, 2003-2005.
Diana has been lucky enough to have a slew of marvelous teachers and coaches at the DSI Theater in Carrboro, and The Magnet Theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. The slew includes Corey Brown, Scott Jennings, Jen O'Bryan, Ross White, Zach Ward, Laine Hindley, Bret Runestead, Charlie Todd, Amy Rhodes, and Armando Diaz. Diana would like to thank her even larger slew of marvelous teammates.
