Austin was introduced to improv in 2007 as a junior at East Chapel Hill High School. Later that year, he began performing as a founding member of DSI's first all-high-school team, Giuseppe. He has studied under Zach Ward, Kit FitzSimons and Paula Pazderka. He has performed as a member of ComedySportz, XGames, and DSI High. Austin is now a member of UNC's student improv group, CHiPs and currently performs at DSI with Improv Slam.
