Alan Goldstein began his semicentennial year studying improvisation at DSI with Paula Pazderka and Zach Ward. He is currently a member of the DSI House Team, Polygraph Test and a member of Durham-based FatMouth Improv.

Alan grew up in California, attended graduate school in New Hampshire, did post-graduate work in New Zealand and has settled in Durham with no plans to ever move again. He manages a microbiology laboratory and is always happy to talk about nasty infectious diseases. It is absolute truth that Alan met his wife Debra at a Duke Continuing Education class called "Singing for Non-Singers". His three children have an industrial sized supply of ear plugs.
