DSI CageMatch team The Pride claimed its 2nd consecutive victory Saturday April 8, 2006 from The Hip Hop Review. The final score was 21-9 in favor of The Pride, an even larger margin than their initial victory over Bonus Room with a score of 16-10. The Pride will go on next week to face the boys of Papa Fibonacci. In a show where the audience votes to decide who moves on to the next round, stacking the audience is not only allowed, it is encouraged!

In Chicago News...

DSI Comedy Theater has been invited to compete in the 2006 Super CageMatch Championship. Having won the Super CageMatch in 2003 and 2004, DSI's Dual Exhaust, the comedy duo of Beth Melewski and Zach Ward, made an honorable run to defend the title in 2005, but ultimately lost in the finals to Mother from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. DSI will enter a bracketed competition for the 2006 title during the 9th Annual Chicago Improv Festival. DSI will face All-Star teams from the world's most renowned improv companies: UCBT, IO, The Annoyance, The Impatient Theatre Co., The PIT and Bad Dog Theatre. DSI would like your support.
