DSI's Dirty South Improv Festival is proud to announce the full line-up for its 6th annual comedy event in North Carolina, the largest event in the Southeastern United States dedicated to the art of improvisation. Each year professional improv groups and college teams from across the country travel to Chapel Hill and Carrboro for a week of showcase performances and improv comedy training.

DSI's 2006 festival will take place in three venues:

DSI Comedy Theater (Carborro) | Feb 21-26
The Artscenter (Carrboro) | Feb 23
Gerrard Hall (UNC Chapel Hill) | Feb 24-25

See Anthony King (Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn, A&Es Biography, and on MTV's Miss Seventeen) and Charlie Todd (Improv Everywhere, declared one of the "10 Funniest People You've Never Heard Of" by New York Magazine) in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre show on Friday Feb. 24 at 8PM.

See ColdTowne Heroes (pictured above) on Thursday Feb. 23 at 7:30PM. After Hurricane Katrina, five members of ColdTowne Heroes fled to Austin, Texas, living together, begging for food together, and building a group mind that borders on codependence.
