DSI Comedy and The Carolina Theatre Join Forces to Bring Margaret Cho to Durham.


The Margaret Cho performance marks a big move forward for DSI Comedy Theater. The theater continues to develop its strong roster of alt-comedy in The Triangle but has now become a comedy presenter, partnering with regional performing arts spaces.

The Cho Dependent Tour performance features Margaret Cho's trademark raunchy, socially relevant and politically-charged comedy, plus a unique chance to see her perform a handful of songs from her new comedy album, Cho Dependent. The lyrics on Cho Dependent, which tackle issues of sex, drugs, rock & roll (and lice), may be laugh-inducing, but Cho has made no compromises when it comes to the quality of the songwriting and production.
