Did you know that 600 families in Chapel Hill live on less than $15,000 a year? The children in these families cannot afford summer camp or after school programs in our town. So, where will they spend their time? On the streets of Chapel Hill, looking for something to do! Boys & Girls Clubs focus on children from challenging circumstances or who need us most.

Clubs offer structured programs and services designed to build confidence, character and strengthen life skills. Clubs help to reduce crime, drug use and early sexual behavior in participants. Club participants are more likely to improve their grades and graduate from High School.

Did you know that 52% of adults who have attended a Boys & Girls Club in their youth said it saved their life? That's right! A Boys & Girls Club in Chapel Hill will help our children avoid destructive behavior and become productive, competent and caring citizens when they grow up.

Our Area needs a Boys & Girls Club and you can help!
$1000 will provide 6 months attendance for one child.
$ 500 will purchase a computer/copier for one child
$ 500 will purchase a basketball goal with painted court lines
$ 400 will purchase a trampoline with mesh sides for safety
$ 300 will cover lunch for 10 children for a month
$ 120 will purchase four balls-either basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs
$ 180 will buy baseball bats, gloves, balls needed for a game
$ 100 will pay for art supplies for one child for one year
$ 100 will buy a badminton/volleyball set
$ 50 will cover costs for a field trip to a museum, the zoo, or the water park
$ 50 will purchase paper, pencils, markers, paints, pens for a child for a year
$ 50 will buy books for one child for one year
