Katy Jack

Katy Jack has been performing improv since she was a teenager, which wasn't so very long ago. With almost ten years of comedy experience, she's developed her own quirky style without ever losing her sense of fun and play. Katy is a teacher and performer at the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro, NC. Locally, she's performed Harold with KEVLAR and AU JUS, shortform with ComedySportz NC and Improv Slam, and various longform acts like THE DARKNESS, ANCIENT ARTIFACT, and SUPER SECRET SPACE BASE. She has performed on stages in New York City, Raleigh, and Charleston. She recently appeared in Ladies' Night at DSI as a storyteller/standup and with DECENT RITAS, a team of all-female improvisers.

Outside of comedy, Katy is a certified trainer at a technology company. At home, she has a dog, a cat, and a manfriend who keep her company and mostly out of trouble. She has most-but-not-all of a BA in English and History from East Carolina University, and loves to chat about poetry and colonial history.
