Students develop an understanding of how-to approach and write sketch comedy and can expect to leave class with a portfolio of writing samples.

SKETCH 101 runs for 6 weeks for 2 hours per week.

Your class works towards a staged reading of sketches.

Email paula@dsicomedy.com with questions.

NO SKETCH WRITING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Students are expected to write outside of class, preparing sketches for presentation. You must have the ability to print your sketches and bring copies for the class on a weekly basis.

Students should have access to a computer and screenwriting software. We recommend Final Draft. You may also choose to use a free program such as celtx or a free online software like Zhura.
